Many student athletes desire to continue their athletic career beyondHigh School and into College. There are strict requirements concerningCore Course Requirements, SAT and ACT test scores, grade point average, and whether you will be participating in Division 1 (D1),Division 2 (D2) or Division 3 (D3).•To register for the SAT exam•To register for the ACT exam•To register with the NCAA Eligibility Center
Recruiting Myth•Only the big name high school stars get scholarships into colleges. The fact is College recruiting staffs have limited resources to scout, evaluate and recruit players. While the big name players that have the size and stats that get noticed are heavily recruited they still need good players that have good grades that meet the requirements above. The most effective way to get noticed is to contact the school(s) directly that you are interested in. Most colleges have sections on their websites for recruits. Once you contact them they will usually send you a form to fill out that gets you into their database. Many offer camps/clinics that you can attend in the off season that will get you noticed.
