Coach Lopez is a 1986 Vacaville High School graduate. While at Vacaville High School, he participated in football and track and field for four years. He played tight end, defensive end, and was the place kicker. He earned special teams' player of the year award and was honorable mention All League as a lineman his senior year. He was a 50 foot shot putter and competed at the sectional meet his junior and senior year. He currently hold's the record for points (points gained throughout the game, using a grading system) at over 4,000. He was a member of the 1985 section runner-up team that went 11-3. After attending Vacaville High School, Coach Lopez attended American River College playing defensive end. He was voted "Tenacious Player" his second year there. He then went on to play at Whitworth University in Spokane Washington. He was a two year captain and honorable selection as a defensive end. He also participated in track and field while at Whitworth.   Coach Lopez started his coaching career at American River College in 1993 as a defensive line coach. He came to VHS in 1996 and coached the shot put and discus from 1996-2000. His 2012 JV team ended the season perfect at 10-0.   Coach Lopez has three children, daughters Parker and Phoebe and a son Beau. His wife is Julie and her daughter is Chloe. Coach Lopez's parents graduated from Vacaville High School and have worked in the Vacaville Unified School District. Coach Lopez's grandfather, Bert Hughes, designed the first face masks for Vacaville High. He also made braces for wrists and shoulders for Vacaville High athletes. Coach Lopez attended his first Vacaville High game in 1970 when he was two years old. He has two brothers Perry, Shay and a sister Tracy He is currently an high school PE teacher.

Coach Cooney is a 1993 graduate from Vacaville High School. While at Vacaville High, Coach Cooney played all four years (freshman year at Jepson). He also played Rugby for two years and was on the California Cup Championship team his junior year. After graduating from Vacaville High, Coach Cooney attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where he majored in Social Science with a minor in Anthropology and Geography. He received his Masters/credentials in Education from UOP. Coach Cooney is currently a World/US History teacher at Willis Jepson Middle School. He has been teaching as well as coaching for over ten years. Coach Cooney’s philosophy is to live life, enjoy life and keep striving to be the best you can be. He also stated that "I teach and coach for the satisfaction of seeing my student athletes succeed".  Coach Cooney is engaged to Melissa Covell. They have a daughter, Haven.

Coach Fortunato is a 1980 Vacaville High School graduate. While at Vacaville High School, he participated in football, basketball, and tennis. He was a quarterback and earned All-League as a punter. He was a forward on the basketball team and the number one ranked tennis player at Vaca High throughout his high school career. After attending Vacaville High School, Coach Fortunato attended Cal Berkeley in on a football scholarship as a punter, where he played against future NFL players John Elway, Marcus Allen and Ronnie Lott in 1980-82.   He has 29 years of coaching experience, which began in 1983. Mike has coached numerous sports including football, baseball, basketball, and tennis. Coach Fortunato is the owner of the Varsity Grill restaurant in town after 23 years in the beverage industry. Mike is married to wife Michelle and have four children: Michaela, Frankie, Beth, and Vinny.

Coach Core is a 2009 graduate of Vacaville High School. He wore number 51 for the Bulldogs during his varsity career, playing inside linebacker. He was on the wrestling team, track and field team and baseball team. Coach Core attended Solano Community College and currently works at Fenton’s Creamery.

Armando Perez - Assistant Coach
Coach McGrath is a 1996 graduate of Sonoma Valley High School. While at Sonoma Valley, he was a 4 year letter winner in football. He was a 3 time All Redwood Empire League running back and linebacker. He was voted defensive MVP for the Redwood Empire League. He was also a four year letter winner in track and a two year letter winner in basketball. After high school, he attended University of Utah before transferring to Wayne State College in Nebraska. Coach McGrath has coached at Wayne State as a grad assistant, Sacramento City College as the running backs coach, Shasta College as a defensive line coach and co-defensive coordinator, Vintage High School JV defensive coordinator and defensive line, Hogan High School linebacker and defensive coordinator, Flat Head High School offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Currently Coach McGrath is working at Rexam aluminum as a product line mechanic. He is married to his wife Shannah. They have a son Ty and a son Colt who is due in December.
Coach Perez attended Liberty Union High School and is a 1966 graduate of Pittsburg Senior High. While in high school, he participated in football, wrestling and track. He was a Division Champion in the 2 mile.   After high school, Coach Perez attended Respiratory Therapy School. He also has attended Solano Community College where received a degree in business management and administration. Coach Perez has coached grammer school track and flag football in 1976. He has coached Pop Warner Football starting in 1978. Coach Perez has been coaching football at Vacaville High School since 2000. Coach Perez was one of the founding members to build Vaca Valley Hospital. He has also spearheaded building the youth football field at Alan Patch Park. He was also the first instructor trainer for CPR in Vacaville. Coach Perez is engaged to his fiancé Theresa. He has two kid's; daughter Yolanda and son Armondo Jr. He also has three grandchildren, Alex, Elias and Juliann.  
Coach Post attended Kubasaki High School, Japan from 1976-1977. In 1979 he graduated from Fairfield High School. Coach Post was a member of the football team while at Kubasaki and Fairfield. He was honored as the most improved player at defensive tackle. Coach Post attended Solano Community College for one year. Coach Post's coaching career consists of coaching the senior powder puff team to a 28-0 win over the juniors in 1979. He has coached Little League baseball 4 years, Vacaville roller hockey 2 years, youth football 5 years, freshman football 4 years, 1 season Fairfield blue knights PAL football. Coach Post has worked at Albertsons/Savemart as a receiving supervisor for over 29 years. He is married to his wife Tami. He has three sons who graduated from Vacaville High, Zane (2003), Zev (2006), Zachary (2007). Coach post is also a season ticket holder for the Oakland Raiders, an avid Matt Kenseth-NASCAR fan. He has also played recreation softball the past 20 years.
Jim Post - Assistant Coach
Coach Zenobi is a 2008 graduate of Vacaville High School. While at Vacaville, Anthony played football and was on the track and field team. Coach Zenobi is currently attending University of Phoenix. He is currently studying Criminal Justice with the goal of becoming a Police Officer. Coach Zenobi coached the freshman team for four years prior to joining the Junior Varsity staff in 2016.
