Vacaville Medical Support Staff
Dr. “Chris” Cammisa
Dr. Chris is a loyal bulldog fan and has been a fixture on the Bulldog sideline-both home and away-for more than twenty years, giving care and attention to our athletes. He watches over the Freshman Bulldogs as well as the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. On occasion, Dr. Chris has even attended to an injured Cheerleader or Drill Team Member. His tenure with the Bulldogs started in the early 80’s when he was a physician in private practice and has continued his support in his current position of Medical Director of Partnership Health plan of California. He has preformed thousands of physicals, assessed injuries, comforted parents, and supported us continually in that time frame. We thank him for his unconditional support.



Mike Kassis
Mike Kassis of Solano Sports and Industrial Physical Therapy is a great supporter of Vacaville High School athletics. His care and attention to our athletes’ injuries has kept them on the field. Mike is on the sidelines at all Bulldog home games, looking after our athletes. While Mike has been active caring for our athletes, he has also been a terrific athletic booster, helping us to raise money for our athletic program. Time and again, Mike has been there to support our programs. Mike is a great asset to the community and is very active, working with the Central Little League and Youth Baseball and Vacaville Bengal Football. The Bulldogs appreciate all you do for athletics.


Dr. Rob Peterson M.D.
Dr. Peterson is a specialist in Orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Currently the team Physician fo U.C. Davis, he works with athletes from Vacaville High School, Davis High School, Wood High School, and Solano College. Dr. Peterson took his medical training at Albert Einstein College, and Montefiore Medical Center and completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Mississippi.
