Daveon Harris rushed for two touchdowns and made a big tackle on a late 2-point conversion attempt by Napa as the Vacaville High School junior varsity football team held off host Napa 13-12 on Friday night. Napa scored with 1:18 to play in the game but elected to go for the game winning 2-point conversion. Harris and teammates stuffed the Indians quarterback at the 1-yard line to secure the win. Vacaville improved to 3-0 in the Monticello Empire League and 8-0 overall. Harris had a 30-yard touchdown run in the first half and had a 3-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter. Sachin Patel converted one extra point. DeAndre Lewis and Daniel Zidich intercepted passes in the fourth quarter to help preserve the win.
