Wyatt Faulkner scored two touchdowns and the Vacaville High School junior varsity football team remained unbeaten after a 56-0 win over Armijo on Friday night at Tom Zunino Stadium. The shutout was the Bulldogs fourth of the season and third shutout in a row. They have out-scored their opponents 258-47 in the first 7 games. Faulkner had a 60-yard interception return for touchdown and also scored on a 20-yard touchdown run. Daveon Harris had a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown and Dalton DeMartini hauled in a 22-yard TD from quarterback Chad Hekking. DeMonte Moore added a 20-yard TD run, Derek Lymus raced 25-yards for another score, Jacob Fetter had a 4-yard touchdown run and Dulon Stevens tacked on a 3-yard score. Sachin Patel converted all eight extra-point attempts. Daniel Zidich had a sack and Luke Andrschek added another interception. Vacaville in now 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the Monticello Empire League. The Bulldogs travel to Napa’s Memorial Stadium next week to play the Indians (5-2, 2-0).
