In the early 1960s, with a limited budget, Tom Zunino was in need of a horn to signal the end of game play in the football stadium.
His father, Lanch Zunino, donated a horn off of a garbage truck from the family business.
The horn continues to blow on Friday nights during Bulldog home games at Tom Zunino Stadium.
