Vaca JV football rolls by Armijo

The Vacaville High School junior varsity football team cruised to a 44-14 win over Armijo Friday night in Fairfield.

Quarterback Coleman Christiansen scored on a three-yard touchdown run and completed a 25-yard touchdown pass to Kenyon Clay. Terrance Trueblood had a 29-yard scoring run and ran 25 yards on defense for a touchdown with an interception.

Justin Garner raced 50 yards for a touchdown. Darrin Fragoza added a three-yard touchdown run.

"I loved the way our offense moved the ball," Vacaville head coach Scott Lopez said. "They were firing on all cylinders."

Vacaville improved to 4-3 overall and 2-0 in Monticello Empire League games. The Bulldogs host Vintage next Friday.
