Vaca JV football team wins MEL opener

Terrance Trueblood score two of Vacaville High School's four second-half touchdowns in a 28-0 junior varsity football win at Fairfield Friday night.

Trueblood scored on runs of 15 and 36 yards as the Bulldogs evened their overall record at 3-3 and won their Monticello Empire League opener.

Coleman Christensen also accounted for a pair of touchdowns, scoring on a 2-yard run and throwing a 35 yard touchdown pass to Kenyon Clay. DeVaughn Moore added a safety for Vacaville, and Darrin Fragoza scored on a 2-point conversion run. Vacaville plays at Armijo next week.
