Vaca JV football falls to Elk Grove

The Vacaville High School offense never quite got on track in a 10-6 junior varsity football loss to visiting Elk Grove Friday night at Tom Zunino Stadium.

The Bulldogs only touchdown came with less than two minutes left on a 35-yard pass from Gordie Clary to Justin Garner.

Recovering fumbles for the Bulldogs were Darrin Fragoza and C.J. Bleasedale.

Vacaville (3-2 overall) opens Monticello Empire League action next Friday at Fairfield.
