DIVISION II
2018 MEL CHAMPIONS
The Bulldogs will be participating in the CIF-SJS Division II playoffs alongside section powerhouse programs Del Oro, Grant, Granite Bay, Elk Grove, Jesuit and Central Catholic. Although the MEL is a Division III classified league, Vacaville is one of seven programs in the Division II bracket which fall into the “continued success” category (Del Oro, St Mary’s, Central Catholic, Elk Grove, Whitney, Grant, Vacaville). All of these programs are previous section and/or state champions/finalists. Based on our prior success, although we could possibly be a lower division by enrollment, we may not play any lower than Division II in playoffs. Good luck to all of our pre-season opponents in the playoffs.  All five have made the playoffs this year. Oak Ridge in Divison I, Granite Bay in Division II, Burbank in Division III, and Liberty and Pittsburg in the North Coast Section playoffs.
